INFRARED SAUNA

An infrared sauna uses infrared electromagnetic waves to heat the body. It can also offer the body some benefits. Weight loss and pain reduction are two of these benefits. A Traditional Sauna heats the air and then the air heats your body.  The heat produced by Infrared Saunas heats your body directly. As a result, your body core temperature increases. This, in turn, produces a deeper result.

Infrared saunas detox the body through sweat, improve circulation thanks to the dilation of the blood vessels, and promote relaxation. As an added benefit, the air inside the heating chamber is more breathable and less musky than in traditional saunas.

Is An Infrared Sauna More Effective Than A Traditional Sauna?

Although both traditional saunas and infrared saunas produce heat, they have little else in common. A traditional sauna uses hot rock heating elements or steam to produce heat. Meanwhile, an infrared sauna heater will use the infrared spectrum to generate heat. This makes an infrared sauna a more comfortable experience. It also ensures easier breathing.

Could I Benefit from Using An Infrared Sauna?

Infrared saunas offer a host of benefits for the human body. These include:

  • Detoxification. A key benefit of using infrared saunas is that they remove harmful waste from the body. Your body will detoxify itself naturally through sweating, which removes toxins from your bloodstream. If you sweat more profusely, you can eliminate more toxic waste and prevent a buildup from occurring. Similar to intense workout sessions, infrared saunas boost the process of detoxification through sweating. It forces your body to flush out its harmful toxins more rapidly over an extended period.
  • Metabolism boosting. When your body heats up, it tries immediately to find ways to cool down. This makes your metabolism work harder and burn more calories. When you enter an infrared sauna, your blood will start to circulate faster and more efficiently. This has the potential for improving circulation. It also has the potential to assist weight loss.
  • Reducing pain. Heat can relieve stiffness and pain in the joints and muscles. An infrared sauna can act in a similar way to a heating pad to treat athletic injuries or back pain.
  • Anxiety and stress relieving. An infrared sauna can help to relax and calm an individual. It has the potential to increase mental wellbeing.
